Seth Binzer, lead vocalist of early-aughts rap-rock band Crazy Town, has died at the age of 49.

Details around the cause of Binzer's death are still scarce, but his publicist confirmed the news to Billboard on Friday (June 23).

Though Crazy Town were not initially met with widespread critical success, the band found commercial success in 2000 with their single "Butterfly."

The song reached No. 1 in the U.S. and No. 3 in the U.K.

Crazy Town released three albums, 2000's "The Gift of Game," 2002's "Darkhorse," and 2005's "Crazy Town is Back."

In recent years, Binzer had focused on his solo career and released his debut solo album, "Happy Love Sick," in 2018.
