The Brisbane Lions VFL side has recorded back-to-back wins for the first time since the opening two rounds in a commanding 68-point victory over the Hawks. The Lions were in control from the outset, booting the first three goals of the game and never looking back.
Charlie Lyons was the star of the show for the Lions, booting four goals and taking several spectacular marks. The win moves the Lions to within two games of the top eight, with just four rounds remaining in the regular season.
The Lions will be looking to continue their winning ways when they take on the Northern Blues next Saturday at the Gabba. A win over the Blues would all but secure the Lions a spot in the finals.
